Campus Involvement

Pi Phi is For the Kids!

Here at the University of Illinois, our dance marathon is the largest RSO on campus- and we are always sure to be heavily involved every year. The 12-hour Children's Miracle Network event, titled IlliniThon, is a year-long fundraiser that benefits the children at HSHS St.John's Children's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Past years our team has won awards such as raising the most money andhaving the most members. It is also not rare to see many of our members in leadership roles and on the executive board! This year, our Pi Beta Phi team collectively raised $16,851.77, adding to the grand total of over $348,000!

Every Week Pi Phi volunteers over 6 hours at a nearby Dyslexic clinic in Champaign. This allows our members to get a hands on experience, seeing how much our philanthropy really means to others.

As a whole, over 85% of our members are involved in at least one other RSO on campus. These range from professional fraternities, improv, engineering clubs, mental health organizations, club sports, and so much more! Pi Beta Phi always participates in intramural sports and was even the intramural champions this past year! Our members cover just about every major that exists and pride ourselves on our academic achievement and high standing average GPA. We make sure to support other organizations philanthropies and be sure to invite them to ours!
